Devoti and Volvo announce summer sailing roadshows
Free sailing at dozens of venues thanks to sailing roadshows organised by Devoti and Volvo Cars.
A summer of free sailing roadshows lies ahead thanks to Devoti – the Czech dinghy and sportsboat specialists – and Volvo Car UK, sponsors of the UK's Olympic team and a network of sail training academies around the country.
Devoti D-Zero roadshow
The Devoti D-Zero, is a brand new singlehander from the company that has built every Finn Olympic Medal winner since 1996, including the three consecutive Golds, from Sir Ben Ainslie.
The D-Zero is based on the Punk dinghy, the unique concept designed by Dan Holman and raced on the UK dinghy racing circuit. It's a single handed performance dinghy, fully fitted by Harken, with a two piece carbon mast and a 8.1m2 sail, raised by a halyard, and a carbon boom. The hull is 4.2m long overall with a beam of 1.42m. It comes complete and ready to sail.
According to Devoti: "The requests for the chance to test sail the D-Zero have been overwhelming and we are pleased to announce the dates and venues where you test sail this exciting, 21st Century, lightweight singlehander.
