ICE 60 BEFORE THE STORM
The ICE60 line, by its semi-custom nature, has allowed for a customization of the interiors that partially transforms the layout of the first specimen.
The entirely carbon hull welcomes a very open environment inside, with the view running freely from the central salon to the owner's cabin as soon as you descend the steps.
The design of the environment respects precise symmetries; in fact, the arrangement of the sofas is frontal, and each sofa has a dedicated coffee table that can be transformed into a dining table.
The two equipped furniture pieces in the kitchen area are also symmetrical, and in the center, there is an island workbench that leaves excellent movement space for passage from the living area to the owner's night area.
Contributing to the idea of a large open space is the clean line of the furniture elements, which maintain a rigorous order in every detail. The minimalist furniture indeed enhances the importance of the elements shaped in harmony and integration with the hull, without distractions from other superfluous objects.
Each furniture element is made from molds and is characterized by rounded edges that soften their decisive line.
Carbon is left visible on the high side cabinet doors, which run almost uninterrupted along the side, joined by a light wood essence for the low furniture and coffee tables, and an anthracite gray for the sofas. Neutral colors are therefore ready to support the acid green, a strong contrasting color used in some horizontal Corian surfaces and in some vertical hull sides.
In the background, delimiting the owner's area, there is a large carbon bulkhead with a futuristic hexagonal cut that highlights the layout of the unidirectional carbon fiber reinforcements running along the edges. The flush door leads to the spacious cabin with particularly roomy wardrobes. The bathrooms are all made with visible carbon surfaces and details.
To darken the cabins, which all have portholes with direct light, rigid sliding panels have been designed.
The layout of the deck, made of carbon, respects the design rigor of the entire vessel. Completely covered in teak, with a carbon mast and boom, and a coachroof with large windows to ensure pleasant brightness inside. The hull is acid green, a bold choice, echoed inside, which is perfectly harmonious with the other few neutral colors found on deck.
