Description
2018 Lagoon 40 – “Southern Wild”
Southern Wild is a beautifully maintained 2018 Lagoon 40 designed by Van Peteghem / Lauriot-Prévost, combining luxurious comfort with strong sailing performance. This three-stateroom, two-head catamaran was built in Bordeaux, France, and has been continuously upgraded by knowledgeable owners for comfort, reliability, and self-sufficiency.
Powered by twin Yanmar 4JH45 diesels (1,465 hrs) with upgraded folding props, she features a Fischer Panda 10kW generator, (3) Kilovault 900AH lithium house bank, Victron 3000W inverter/charger (2024), four 245W solar panels, and a SeaWater Pro 17 GPH watermaker.
Recent upgrades include a new foresail (Aug 2025), new trampoline (2024), Triton Oddysea bottom paint (Oct 2024), Shadowcaster underwater lights, fresh-water electric heads (2021), and new sanitation lines (2024).
Her inviting cockpit features a custom teak table, full helm and cockpit enclosure, Weber LPG BBQ, and upgraded chrome davits with a Highfield tender and 2021 9.8hp Tohatsu outboard (~200 hrs).
