Perfect for Mediterranean cruising, this exceptionally maintained Jeanneau 54 is an opportunity for those seeking performance, comfort, and ease of handling.

Jeanneau 54 'NYMPHEA' is privately owned since new, never chartered, and used only as a day sailer. She has hardly been used and therefore is in excellent condition. All maintenance has been professionally managed.

LUXURIOUS ACCOMMODATION

Designed for up to 8 guests, NYMPHEA offers three spacious cabins plus a crew cabin, ideal for family cruising or extended voyages.

  • Full-beam owner's cabin (forward) – Large double berth, settees, wardrobe, ensuite head with separate shower
  • Port-side aft guest cabin – Spacious double bed, private head with shower
  • Starboard aft guest cabin – Twin berths (convertible to double), private head with shower
  • Crew cabin (bow) – Accessible via deck hatch, never used, with manual toilet and shower

The saloon is bright and open, featuring large windows and overhead hatches for abundant natural light. The dining area comfortably seats six or more, with foldable designer armchairs adding a stylish touch. The galley is fully equipped with household-sized appliances, including a stand-up fridge/freezer, gas stove, induction plate, microwave, and ample storage.

Highlights include extra-large cockpit, stylish and spacious design, a nicely designed swimming platform, a set of new carbon sails and new Raymarine navigation instruments.

This design offers flexibility for family cruising with or without crew. It is perfect for those looking to maximize their time on deck in comfort and style. The Jeanneau 54 delivers amazing performance with exceptional comfort and safety, designed to sail oceans.

Design

The hull and deck design are by Philippe Briand, while Andrew Winch has brought his experience of working with superyachts, along with a meticulous approach to ergonomics, to improve the styling above and below decks. The 54 is focused around family life spent on deck and in the water. The 54 also carries her maximum beam (4.92 m) nearly all the way to the transom, creating a generously-sized cockpit, ideal for socializing, on-water activities, and all to enjoy under sail. She has been well-designed for her role as a cruiser with a rig that is set up for easy handling shorthanded.

Construction

The hull is hand-laid with a vinylester outer layer to prevent blistering. Bulkheads are bonded to both the hull and deck with high-

performance adhesives, and a moulded structural grid adds stiffness.

The cored deck is constructed using Jeanneau’s proprietary "Prism Process" for optimal resin-to-glass ratio and smooth finishes.

Rigg

NYMPHEA is fitted with a classic deck stepped double spreader aluminium spar with in-mast furling mainsail. On the foredeck, she

offers overlapping furling genoa sheeted to inboard tracks on the port and starboard run decks. Standing rigging is discontinuous wire rigging, and running rigging is neatly concealed and labelled along with high quality and conveniently placed deck hardware to round out the sail handling equipment. The main sheet is also run through the cockpit coming aft, thus keeping the cockpit clear and uncluttered. Jam cleats are handy and all hardware is good quality.

Because of its design, it is quite easy to sail single-handed.

Entertainment on Deck

Via the walkaround teak deck, you can easily reach the sunbed on the foredeck. This sunbed comes with its own bimini. If you want a leisurely lunch in the shade after sunbathing, simply go back into the cockpit and extend the bimini awning.

The center mounted drop leaf table comfortably accommodates the crew for al fresco dining and provides a sturdy hand hold or foot brace under sail. There are raised edges around the table and cut-outs for cups and condiments. Perhaps most importantly, there is adequate clearance around the table, that you can move past it easly. Inside the table is an electric refrigerator to keep your food and drinks cool from the summer heat. The life raft is stored inside the table as well for a quick access while sailing.

When anchored, the pilot seats fold up to create more space on deck. And when the LED lights are switched on, the darkness after sunset doesn’t have to stop you from continuing to enjoy this boat.

There is a good music system for the interior and exterior.

Cockpit

The cockpit on NYMPHEA is enormous. The Jeanneau 54 introduces a novel cockpit design that enhances livability.

It has a high bimini top and a sprayhood with large windows. The plastic windows were completely replaced with new ones this winter 2024.

All lines are routed aft to secondary winches on the cockpit coaming, allowing the captain to move aft while leaving the “lounging crew” undisturbed forward. This innovative approach recognizes the desire for everyone to be in the cockpit while underway.

The port and starboard cockpit side seats continue forward, beyond the companionway forming two comfortable “chairs” to settle into, being more than long enough to stretch out on for a nap.

The companionway hatch features a high splash sill to keep water out, and a drop-down door replaces conventional washboards for ease of use.

Terrace

Continuing all the way aft, the twin helms are literally planted in the port and starboard stern corners with a fold away seats. This is to facilitate and open up space for Jeanneau’s innovative “terrace”.

The "terrace” is a transom panel that hinges downward allowing the section of cockpit deck between the helms to drop down, creating a swim platform and a spacious lounging area with stepped access to the water’s edge via a robust ladder. The terrace is fitted with lounger cushions which can remain in place when the terrace is closed.

Simple Controls

While space is the dominant theme in the cockpit, it’s also shaped around easy handling. The twin helms are positioned well outboard and afford great visibility. Each is supported by nearby primary and secondary Harken winches. Primary winches, closer to the helm, are manual, while secondary winches are electric for effortless trimming.

All lines are neatly hidden, disappearing at the base of the mast and reappearing at the jammers in front of the winches. Running in channels built into the coachroof, the lines are remaining out of sight and all tails disappear into bins next to the winches. It is very tidy and this helps to keep the cockpit uncluttered and family-friendly.

Equipped with German mainsheet system. The sheet runs through two deck-mounted blocks just forward of the dodger, to the mast and back to the winches. This creates a very open and relaxing cockpit with simple controls.

Davits

At the stern of the yacht are unique retractable dinghy davits, capable of carrying a tender up to 120 kg. When not in use, these

davits retract into the hull, nearly flush with the deck leaving the terrace area unobstructed and the hull profile uncluttered.

Truly a clean design for essential cruising boat equipment, that is traditionally unpleasing to the eye.

Saloon

The companionway leads to a bright saloon with impressive headroom, enhanced by natural light flooding in from overhead hatches and large side windows.

NYMPHEA's interior features pale oak cabinetry, light upholstery, and charcoal floors. The saloon centres around a spacious dining table to starboard, offering ample seating for six or more, along with two foldable designer armchairs. To port, a galley with a household-size appliances is located. The Saloon has a large TV well hidden away behind settee.

Owners Cabin with ensuite Bathroom with shower

The owner’ cabin features a large master stateroom forward in the bow complete with centerline berth, port and starboard settees,

wardrobe and general storage.

An en-suite head and separate shower completes the owner’s accommodation. Large opening hatches overhead and port lights

fill the cabin with plenty of natural light and fresh air. The cabin can be completely darkened for the night.

Double Guest Cabin with ensuite head and shower

NYMPHEA features 2 aft guest cabins. One of them is a spacious double aft cabin located on the port side.

It features a comfortable double berth, a cozy port settee, and a portlight, that allows natural light to flood the space.

Additionally, there is a wardrobe providing ample storage for personal belongings for its guests. Each guest cabin has its own separate access to its head with shower.

Twin Guest Cabin

The other guest cabin is a spacious twin aft cabin on the starboard side. It features comfortable twin berths.

A portlight on the starboard side allows natural light to brighten the space. The cabin also includes a wardrobe for ample storage and access to head with a shower for added convenience.

The Galley

The galley on NYMPHEA is located along the port side and is designed as a large gourmet space. It features household-sized

appliances and ample surface area for meal preparation, whether underway or at anchor.

The galley is equipped with a stand-on refrigerator and freezer, a gas stove, an electric induction plate, a microwave, and a retractor. Additionally, there is plenty of storage for cutlery and other galley essentials. Additional compartments are under the floorboards.

Heads

There is a total of 4 heads onboard NYMPHEA. Three of them contain a full-height shower, a wash basin with an electric mixer tap, a toilet, and storage above and below the wash basin. Two toilets are equipped with electric flush systems, and one is manual.

The manual toilet in the crew cabin has never been used, nor the crew cabin itself.

Layout

NYMPHEA features a 3-cabin, 3-head layout with a crew cabin at the bow that is accessible via deck hatch. Starting forward, the master cabin offers a large double berth, ample storage, and an en-suite head with a shower for privacy and comfort. Moving aft, the central saloon is bright and spacious with a large seating area and dining table. To the port side, the galley is equipped with household-sized appliances, including a stand-up refrigerator and freezer, and plenty of storage.

The navigation table is located to the starboard side. Further aft, there are two guest cabins: the port-side double aft cabin includes a double berth, and the starboard-side twin aft cabin has twin berths that can convert into a double. Each guest cabin has its own head with a shower for convenience and privacy. The Jeanneau 54’s below-deck layout ensures a comfortable experience for all aboard, thanks to its spacious headroom and inviting atmosphere.

Perfect for sunny climates, this boat features spacious cabins and extensive deck areas, ideal for outdoor enjoyment with family and friends.

Ready for your next adventure!
