Description

Rustler 33s are rare on the market, and this is the first one to become available in the U.S. JULIA is a high-spec, late-model boat that has always been stored indoors during winter. She features a green hull, inlaid wood coamings, and a carbon rig. With her 14hp diesel saildrive, a compact cabin with an enclosed head, and a galley, she’s perfect for weekend trips, day sailing, or club racing. When not under sail, if you’re fortunate enough to have a waterfront property, this boat will delight the eye, whether docked or moored nearby.

Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean” (or Cat B – whichever is appropriate)

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

  • GRP hull & deck, resin infused.
  • Hull in dark green.
  • Varnished slats on hull sides forward.
  • Bottom paint inc. epoxy primer.
  • A single boot top located above antifouling level.
  • Recessed cavita line in hull moulding inlaid with a gold tape.
  • Cockpit seats, helmsman’s seat and sole are laid in teak. Coamings have teak cappings.
  • Teak inlaid coachroof sides, laminated in.
  • Coloured non-skid deck.
  • Full length toerail with no holes.

Keel & Rudder:

  • Fin keel.
  • A single piece casting of lead external ballast with 4% antimony. Stainless steel bolts.
  • Fully balanced spade rudder with drag link system to tiller.
