This sailboat was specially built for the person who purchased the Seaward business from Mr Nick Hake.  This 2016 46RK has made its home in Saint John, USVI for the last 6 years.  It has been beautifully kept and receives compliments everywhere she goes.  Although her home is in St John, she is tucked away in a safe haven for protection during summer months in Redhook, St Thomas. Known as the flagship of our fleet, the 46RK sets the standard for sailboats when it comes to speed and performance, space and quality. These sailboats are extremely stable with their ballast low at the keel’s lower tip, and light on the helm, allowing easy acceleration.   Vertically adjusting high aspect foils and powerful sailplans make the Seaward 46RK fast and performs like no other. Her controls all lead to the aft cockpit allowing for single handed sailing.

Deep sea performance is unparalled in our 46RK due to cutting edge keel technology. Her 7’ performance keel allows for the flexibility to sail in shallow waters which will reduce your trip duration, and also maintains the sailboat’s center of gravity no matter keel depth. The flexibility of her keel allows you to “sail without boundaries” in extreme shoal conditions. With adjustable draft you can reduce resistance off the wind or in lighter air so the boat sails faster and more efficiently, enhancing performance and speed. Fixed keel sailboats use their deep fixed keel only 20 percent of the time. The rest of the time these keels have a tremendous amount of drag. Seaward keels are adjustable for stability and lack of drag.
