Description
The AMEL 64 is a top level cruising yacht, with a modern and elegant design. Faithful to the AMEL spirit in the quality of construction as well as in the level of her equipment, she has modern and refined lines. Her sailing performance is excellent, and her behaviour at sea is exemplary. With the AMEL 64, a new dimension opens to lovers of the sea: the pleasure of sailing on a yacht of exception.
Construction
• Hull made from Roving 71 glass fibre + glass flakes with anti-osmosis barrier / isophthalic resin composite monolithic laminate
• The bulkheads are made of plywood with foam filler, glued into the hull (as well as wooden partitions, furniture, etc.)
• This system guarantees the highest rigidity of the whole unit and optimises load spread
• The bulkheads are glued and laminated with the deck. 6 of them are watertight collision bulkheads with isolation valves
• The fore and aft bridge, foredeck and quarter deck are made from "Amel teak" (the real teak imitation), moulded into the deck
• Dual circuit hydraulic wheel steering
• The transom opens fully with the dinghy launching platform by hydraulic control
