OYSTER 883.03 SERAFINA OF LONDON - NEW LISTING
Serafina of London is a 2013 Oyster 885 designed for serious bluewater cruising while offering superyacht-level comfort. Built with advanced E-glass, Kevlar, and carbon fibre construction, she combines strength and lightness with a hull certified to Category A Ocean standards. Her twin rudders, high-performance bulb keel, and powerful double-headed rig deliver exceptional sailing performance, while features like hydraulic sail handling and a custom flip-down transom platform make her both practical and luxurious for extended passages.
Inside, Serafina offers spacious accommodation for up to 12 guests across six cabins, including a luxurious owner’s suite and multiple en-suite guest staterooms. Her panoramic raised saloon floods the interior with natural light, while high-end finishes like quarter-sawn limed teak joinery, acoustic insulation, and premium materials create a refined and quiet atmosphere at sea. Modern conveniences such as electric blinds, Sonos audio throughout, and carefully planned storage and layouts enhance onboard comfort whether cruising or chartering.
Beyond her design and interior, Serafina is equipped with cutting-edge systems and amenities that make her ocean-ready and highly self-sufficient. She features twin generators, a Cathelco watermaker, powerful air conditioning, Starlink Ocean internet, and a full suite of Raymarine navigation electronics. The yacht comes with a tender, dive compressor, water toys, and MCA Category 2 coding, making her as suited to private exploration as she is to luxury charter work. This blend of performance, safety, and comfort is what sets Serafina apart as a world-class cruising yacht.
MANUFACTURER'S COMMENTS
A SUB 90-FOOT OCEAN-SAILING YACHT
The Oyster 885 Series 1 is a sub 90ft yacht. Conceived by Oyster to efficiently comply with commercial coding, she offers the perfect solution for those who seek the pleasure of owning such an iconic ocean-sailing yacht with the option to recoup some of the investment by chartering.
The first of two 885’s designed by Humphreys Yacht Design and Oyster Yachts to the limit of the MCA 24m Load Line Length, the 885 is a sub 90ft yacht with ample space for guests.
Her accommodation is attractively fitted out with every luxury and practical liveaboard feature you would expect, as well as quite a few that you might not. In addition to the sumptuous owner’s stateroom, three comfortable en-suite guest cabins were offered, of which one could be configured as either a study or lower saloon area. The accommodation in any of these sub 90ft yachts provides a feeling of space expected of a much larger yacht, while clear separation of the galley and crew quarters ensures privacy for all guests.
Among the 885’s many attractions is her huge, ergonomic split cockpit – a welcome addition to any sub 90ft yacht – perfect for al-fresco dining and relaxation on any sailing passage. Her spacious, open deck areas can also be further extended by a large hydraulic bathing platform.
The 885’s ocean-going hull is balanced and powerful with a fine entry that will help the boat cleave through a seaway with excellent Vmg, while a broad stern keeps a high level of form stability and an off-wind potential that will rattle away the miles in any trade wind passage. As a proven ocean-sailing yacht, the Oyster 885 is fitted with both stern and bow thrusters and has a twin rudder configuration for slick manoeuvring in harbour.
During production, the Oyster 885 Series 1 was offered as a spacious Deck Saloon or Raised Saloon version, with three interior layouts giving wonderful flexibility for the owner to make this a very personal yacht.
The Oyster 885 Series 1 is succeeded by the 885 Series 2 bluewater yacht.
