Description
Lagoon 450 Owner’s Version – Perfectly Equipped for Bluewater Cruising
Big price reduction, owner keen to sell
This Lagoon 450 Owner’s Version offers the ideal setup for short-handed sailing, combining comfort and autonomy. It was one of the very first models fitted with lithium batteries and a large solar array, complemented by an 11 kVa generator that allows you to run all onboard systems without compromise. The induction galley eliminates the need for gas, and a dive compressor adds to the self-sufficiency. The entire system is proven and highly reliable.
This is also the first Lagoon 450 to feature an in-boom furling mainsail. With its genoa, parasailor, gennaker, and storm jib, it carries a complete sail inventory that is easy to handle and suited for all conditions—from upwind passages to effortless downwind sailing.
The boat has had just one German owner. She was cruised full time until 2020, and since then has only been used for a few family holidays in French Polynesia. The last voyage was in October 2023, so everything is in good working order and ready to go.
LayoutThe interior follows the classic Lagoon style:
a large owner’s hull to starboard,
two double cabins each with ensuite bathrooms to port,
a bright saloon with U-shaped galley, navigation station, and a large dining table that converts into an additional berth.
The spacious cockpit features custom aqua-blue upholstery and a beautiful folding teak table, making it ideal for entertaining.
Key EquipmentThe full inventory is available on request, but highlights include:
Yanmar engines – only 1,500 h, with electronic controls at both helm and nav station
11 kVa generator (911 h, serviced 2023)
Cruisair reverse-cycle air conditioning
Bauer Junior dive compressor
In-boom furling system serviced in 2022
Parasailor and gennaker
Complete Furuno electronics package at the flybridge: 15” chartplotter, radar, AIS
Mastervolt 24V lithium battery bank with charge regulators and inverter
1,200 W solar array (installed 2019)
100 l/h watermaker
High-end galley: induction cooktop, steam oven, washing machine, dishwasher
Quick windlass with chain counter and helm controls, 120 m stainless steel chain with 40 kg anchor
Walkerbay 325 center-console tender with 30 Hp outboard (2019)
Antifouling September 2022
French and Polynesian taxes paid
Reinforced bulkheads per Lagoon protocol
The Lagoon 450 Flybridge remains one of the most popular configurations, and this example stands out for its meticulous maintenance and full equipment package designed for autonomy and safety. Very little needs to be done before setting sail. A marina berth in Raiatea can be retained while you prepare your departure.
