Description
The Southerly 42RST is a superb, go-anywhere cruiser, which combines the flexibility of a lifting keel with the unique ambiance of a deck saloon. The design offers the flexibility to cross oceans in comfort or explore the shallowest of coastal cruising grounds.
The fractional rig is setup for easy handling, with a self tacking jib and in-mast furling mainsail. Mainsail sheets and controls for bow thruster, autopilot and lifting keel are at the helm. There is a powered winch to assist with jib trim and mainsail reefing. This setup ensures that fast, rewarding sailing can be achieved by just two people with the minimum of effort.
The quality of the interior is obvious the moment you step below, with a lovey American cherry finish and quality fittings throughout. The airy deck saloon is a real feature, with excellent visibility and seating for eight. The generous aft master cabin features a centreline double berth and en-suite shower/head.
'Torcello' is ready for new adventures, having been lightly used and well maintained by her current owners.
