S/V "Heron" is a well maintained 2009 Hunter 49 that is well-equipped and turn-key ready for you to hop on and start enjoying! She is a 3 cabin / 2 head layout with tons of space and storage for provisions and gear. Her in-mast furling mainsail and furling genoa are both like new. Her huge dodger and bimini looks to be only a few years old and in very good condition.

Saloon:
The Hunter 49 has a huge saloon with comfortable seating at the large dinner table, which drops and converts to a massive lounging area perfect for watching movies or offering a spot to crash when off watch. To port there is a very comfortable sofa with storage drawers underneath.
At the nav desk you'll enjoy sitting in a luxurious leather captains chair and will have all of your DC and AC electrical controls at hand. There is a new Raymarine Axiom 9 MFD, VHF with AIS, and tank monitoring panel.
Galley:
Chef will love the ample counter space and multiple fridge / freeze compartments. The propane stove and oven are in excellent condition but the existing microwave oven is non-operable at this time. Hunter logo dishes are included.
Accomodations:
3 cabin / 2 head layout. Large dinette drops down to make an addition lounge / bed. Long sofa to port.
Each of the aft cabins offer plenty of headroom, lots of storage in hanging lockers and cabinets and huge bunks with reading lamps. Aft head is located to port and has a nice seperate shower and electric flush toilet.
In the forward cabin you'll find a huge bed with access from sides, tons of storage in cedar-lined hanging lockers, cabinets and drawers and a small vanity with magnifying mirrow. The toilet and sink / vanity are to starboard and to port is a seperate shower with hanging bar for wet foulies, etc.

With an overall length of 49 feet 11 inches, plus a 14 feet 5 inch beam and 6 feet 9 inches of salon headroom, the Hunter 49 is a BIG boat with impressive interior volume. Driving the Hunter 49's new hull is a specially engineered sail plan that achieves maximum efficiency while maintaining the Hunter trademark of single-handed sail-ability, which is a great feature for a boat of this size. Components aboard the Hunter 49 include Hunter's famous mainsheet traveler arch, backstayless B & R rig, a battened full roach main sail, and two headsail options: single self-tacking jib or self-tacking staysail with overlapping jib. A dual-ended mainsheet allows adjustments from both the cockpit and companionway, and all sheets and halyards end at the cockpit.
