This RM 1200 is a twin keel version with 2 cabins. A superb sailing boat designed by the MARC LOMBARD Design office and built by RM YACHTS in La Rochelle – France, with a plywood epoxy hull and composite deck.
This RM 1200 has a new hull paint, based near St Malo, ready for new cruises and destinations.
Under sail, the RM 1200 is balanced and therefore not very sensitive to heeling effects. The thermal and acoustic insulation adds perfect and safe comfort at sea. The options chosen by the owner allow for safe sailing with family and friends. The layout is particularly comfortable and well-maintained, the "heating" option Webasto (revised in 2021) is particularly appreciated. The double cabin, located at the rear port side, offers a comfortable sleeping space of 140cm and storage spaces such as drawers and wardrobes. The navigation area is both simple and complete, equipped with NKE. On the starboard side, you have a real bathroom with shower and toilet. The U-shaped kitchen is practical and ergonomic, allowing you to brace yourself at sea during navigation. The choice of two sinks is appreciated. The equipment includes a gas stove with oven and a refrigerator with 2 drawers. The saloon is welcoming and cozy, equipped with plenty of storage. The design, the choice of light wood colors, and large portholes give the boat exceptional brightness for its time. A spacious and bright interior offering panoramic visibility, highly appreciated for keeping an eye on the sails and the environment. A large cockpit with a tiller welcomes the crew and friends to share the pleasure of cruising. The deck is designed for optimal safe navigation with well-thought-out fittings that allow for the adjustment of sails on 2020 genoa furlers + staysail. A heavy spinnaker of 130 m2 is included. The battened mainsail was replaced in 2017.
