Cape 40 'MR KITE'

Mr Kite does it all, if you are looking for a boat to race in the harbour or longer coastal races either fully crewed or short-handed Mr Kite is a must see.

This is a bullet proof carbon fibre race boat, very rarely suffering breakdowns even in the most challenging of conditions. Having competed the 2-handed Round North Island of New Zealand Race, twice around the 3 Kings, White Island race, many Coastal classics, BOI Race week, and countless other coastal and harbour races, winning many and always performing at the front of the fleet.

Mr Kite comes with a full sail inventory of race condition sails, with no gaps in the wind range or angles. 1 race Mainsail, 2 race Jibs, 6 race Gennakers, 2 race Code 0s, 2 staysails + Storm sails and other delivery/practice sails. New J1 2025, New J3 late 2023.

Since arriving from Australia in 2019 Mr Kite has been constantly upgraded and maintained to a high standard and is presented in race ready condition for the next owner.

The boat is currently kept in Westhaven Marina, Auckland, New Zealand.
