CONSTRUCTION

• Hand-laid fiberglass using polyester and vinylester resins
• Above the waterline Baltek end-grain balsa core is used to reduce weight and add stiffness
• Deck is a sandwich construction, marine plywood coring
• Structural grid is a fiberglass built into the hull and over glassed to distribute loads and provide monocoque integrity
• Hull-to-deck joint is located beneath a protective rubrail, through bolted for strength
