Owners Summary:
A very comfortable and competitive yacht which I have sailed since buying it from the Hamble in 2018 after the loss of my Victory 42 in the disaster at Holyhead Marina. Since the purchase and bringing her to Holyhead, I have raced FlairIV in the ISORA races including the Isle of Man Midnight Race, local club races at Holyhead and Pwllheli, and cruised extensively to both the North and the South of Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Outer Hebrides.
She was modified by a previous owner for Pip Hare to sail the Fastnet Race short handed.
FlairIV is an easy boat to sail as a short-handed crew of skipper and 1 crew, but can sleep 8, with good social space in the saloon.
I am reluctantly selling Flair IV as at the age of 73 I am reconsidering how the last quarter of my life should go.
As well as being the 2002 Earles Court Show Boat Flair 1V was also modified by a previous owner for Pip Hare to sail the Fastnet Race short handed and a photo of Pip helming FlairIV was published in the RNLI magazine in September 2025!
