Description
Designed by Groupe Finot, the Beneteau 311 for sale is a fast, comfortable, and well-balanced Beneteau sailboat that incorporates many of the characteristics found in larger performance cruisers. Her hull and integral molded grid system create an extremely strong and stiff structure, while the bulb keel provides impressive speed and excellent performance under sail despite its moderate draft. The large sail area is divided between a mainsail with long battens and a moderate-overlap furling genoa, making this 311 sailboat ideal for Pacific Northwest sailing or extended coastal cruising.
The deck layout is simple, efficient, and safe. The large cockpit features slatted teak seating and uncluttered space, with genoa sheet winches conveniently located within easy reach of the helm. Standard features include lazyjacks, a quick reefing system, and a solid boom vang. Below deck, the galley to port includes a gimbaled stove, stainless steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, and ample storage, while to starboard there is a large head with a marine toilet, wash basin, shower with pressurized water, a hanging locker, and plenty of space for supplies. The navigation table and electronics are easily accessed from the bulkhead.
The symmetrical salon offers two settees flanking a large drop-leaf table. The Beneteau 311 has two cabins—forward and aft. The private forward cabin includes a spacious V-berth, hanging locker, and generous storage along the hull, while the aft cabin provides additional space for crew or guests, making this Beneteau 311 sailboat a compact, comfortable, and high-performing cruising yacht.
