Description
Imagine you want to embark on a long sea voyage, not too far in the future, and do so with a very well-equipped ship. You will inquire with shipyards about the cost of having a new ship built and the timeline for its completion. You probably realize that this will not happen in the coming years. However, there is now an opportunity to experience that. This Aquatella 49 is ready to set sail. The current owner had it built and has since maintained the ship with much love and money in 'as good as new' condition. Everything is truly still in top condition, and all the adjustments needed for extended time at sea have been made. Over the past year, a new mast, boom, rigging, and sails have been acquired. Almost all winches are electric, and all sails, including the headsails, are operated electrically. Navigation-wise, everything is up-to-date.
Although it is a steel ship, you will find no rust below deck; annual maintenance is meticulously carried out during winter storage (indoors).
You step onto a very stable ship with a safe central cockpit. Through the spacious hatch, you enter a light and spacious salon with the pantry to starboard and the navigation corner to port. A corridor along the navigation corner leads you to the master cabin with its own wet cell. In this wet cell, there is a shower with sufficient headroom, even for taller individuals.
Back in the salon, there is a beautiful and spacious round seating area with two separate seats to starboard. From the salon moving forward, there is a double cabin (bunk beds, not shown; it is currently used for storage) to port and a second spacious wet cell with a shower to starboard. This shower is disconnected, and here is the washing machine. All the way at the front is the double, spacious, and bright guest cabin.
Under the central cockpit lies a reliable Yanmar diesel engine with sufficient power, and here is the generator, making gas on board unnecessary.
