The Moody 31 offers so much in the way of clever design and accommodation along with excellent sailing qualities.  A shallow draft fin keel drawing 1.68m, this is a boat that can accommodate family or friends and is equally at home exploring Estuaries as it is out on the open seas . This is the S31 (some refer to it as the MKII) with 145 units produced compared to over 300 of the earlier model. Key differences include a longer waterline further increasing the performance, broader beam, and a larger aft cabin 

A double berth with infill at the fore and a generous double berth aft (with seating to the side) give private quarters along with the option to use the saloon as single berths. 

The heads is a good size to incorporate a shower off the basin tap and the galley opposite is well equipped. 

In the cockpit, she is spacious and access to the side decks and the companionway give the impression of a bigger boat. A cockpit canopy is part of the inventory and the sprayhood has large clear windows giving good visibility over the deck

Under the water line, she is coppercoated to the hull with the keel being antifoulled.

Most upgrades were completed in 2010/2011including a full suit of electronics and a full set of sails                                                                                       

Nergize is a good example of the Moody S31 and is definitely worth viewing, with new batteries and the keel bolts having just been replaced, she is ready to go.
