The Hunter 340 is a mid-size cruising sailboat designed for comfortable sailing. Built by Hunter Marine (USA) and designed by the Hunter Design Team, the 340 was produced from the late 1990s into the early 2000s. It’s a monohull with a fractional B&R rig that eliminates the backstay and makes sail handling easier, especially for short-handed crews.

Its broad beam and thoughtful layout give surprisingly generous interior volume for a 34-footer — with private forward and aft cabins, a functional galley, a real dinette, a head with shower, and plenty of light through portholes and hatches. It is designed with in-mast mainsail furling and roller furling headsails, making sail management simple!

The deck features a walk-through sugar-scoop transom with an integrated swim platform and ladder, making water access easy — a nice bonus for cruising.
