Built in 1998.  GRP construction with white topsides and superstructure.    Fin keel.   Saildrive.  Aft cockpit with tiller steering.   Open plan layout with 6 berths in aft cabin plus saloon.

SAILS and RIG:

Slab reefing mainsail (Northrop 2022).  Spare mainsail.  Stack pack mainsail cover with lazyjacks. Genoa roller reefing system with furling No 1 Genoa (valeted 2023).  Storm jib (as new). Alloy mast and boom by Z Spars. Stainless steel standing rigging renewed in 2018.

ENGINE:

Volvo Penta MD2020 19hp inboard diesel engine (1998).  Saildrive (diaphragm last changed April 2018).  new two blade fixed propeller. Approx 80 litre fuel tank with a consumption per hour of around 1 to 1.5 litres.  Around 1500 engine hours. Cruising speed under engine is approx 5 knots.

ELECTRICS:

Alternator charging to 2 x 12v batteries approx 115 Amp/hr.  240v shore power with 2 sockets in cabin. LED lighting.

DECK GEAR:

Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and guardwires, sprayhood (2020), spray dodgers (2024), cockpit cushions (2020), boarding ladder, bathing platform with cold water shower, teak cockpit table, ensign, self tailing sheet winches, halyard winches, outboard bracket on pushit (2024), Bruce pattern 30lb main anchor with 20m of 6mm chain and 30m warps, Brittany 25lb kedge anchor with 30m chain and warp (2019), mooring warps and fenders.

REMARKS:

"La Belle" was purchased by her present owners through ourselves in 2017 and has been based here at Tollesbury Marina. She has been lightly used for local cruising around the East Coast and Kent.  Her owners have maintained her to the highest standards and upgraded items regardless of cost.  She is a beautiful example of the Dufour 30 Classic, being responsive to sail and easy to handle under power.  She would make an ideal first boat or perhaps perfect for anyone downsizing.
