"Fayaway" is an extremely well equipped and recently updated example of the Crealock designed Pacific Seacraft 40. Her owners bought her in 2021 and had extensive work done in some of the country’s most highly respected boat yards, from Maine to North Carolina, including at the Pacific Seacraft factory. Work has been performed to the highest levels. Fayaway had previously been stored, under shrinkwrap in a yard in Massachusetts for 15 years and so while in need of equipment replacements, essentially had 15 years removed from her use timeline. She is a magnificent example of this model, widely recognised as a bluewater icon yacht. The Pacific Seacraft 40 is an ideal boat for a cruising couple with occasional guests. It is comfortable and seakindly with the 2-cabin, 1 head layout. Galley, quarter-berth, head and navigation station are close to the companionway, making it an excellent layout for passagemaking. The Scheel Keel is a desirable feature with the 5'3 draft allowing access to anchorages that have 'skinny water', while the shape of the keel gives excellent pointing ability.
