A double stainless-steel sink adds to its practicality, along with a large insulated storage locker between the sink and oven, which can be used as an icebox or for future refrigeration. Dulce Vida’s galley is well-appointed for the demands of cruising.
Hull and Deck
- The hull and deck of the Catalina 42 Dulce Vida are designed for both durability and functionality. It features a white hull with a grey and white deck, accentuated by gold and black stripes. The double stainless steel bow roller and upgraded deep elliptical rudder enhance performance and handling. The vessel is protected with red Interlux bottom paint, which was applied in 2020. It is equipped with an upgraded Maxwell VW800 electric anchor windlass with power up and down, a remote, and a 44 lb Delta anchor with 80' of 5/16 chain and 270' of 3/4 3-strand nylon rode. Observation seats are built into the stern rail for comfort and convenience. The walk-through transom with a removable helm seat, cockpit shower with hot and cold pressure water, and Garhauer outboard hoist mounted on the stern radar mast pole complete the deck setup, making Dulce Vida a well-appointed and capable cruiser.
