Description
+ Spectacular and unique in Spain Honnor Marine Drascombe Coaster, built in 1992 and launched in 1993.
+ Typical English and Northern European portable vessel. White hull and manila deck. With cabin.
+ Very robust fiberglass, masts and boom in wood in perfect maintenance condition (like new).
+ Hull and deck polished annually.
+ Unfailing Honda 6 hp 4-stroke engine: like new; from 2017 but hardly used, very, very few hours. Meticulously maintained (it's a lifesaver) and of course this year it underwent a thorough inspection both before sailing (in early August) and when taken out of the water (at the end of the same month; in Pontevedra). It is also like new. Very manageable and quiet.
+ Trailer completely refurbished this year (2025); axle, brakes, bearings, and tires: all new. And the lights work perfectly. On the road, it goes wonderfully, over rails, due to the lightness of the set.
+ Mast support and custom lighting panel.
+ Roller jib at the bow with a roller to the cockpit; and the mizzen on itself.
+ The three sails are in good condition.
+ Standing rigging replaced in 2023.
+ High resistance winter cover and cockpit cover.
+ Excellent condition anti-splash hood.
+ Set of oars in good condition (including bushings).
+ Two solar panels to charge an auxiliary battery (one fixed exterior and another larger movable).
+ BluSea solar charge controller; Raymarine Dragonfly plotter; NASA Clipper Duet speed/depth gauge; new transducer.
+ New bolts for the outboard motor pads.
+ Cockpit cushions in good condition, cabin lined inside.
+ Rudder, fender, laminated hardwood rudder new.
+ Rudder and centerboard can be retracted instantly and very easily.
+ Chain and anchor line slightly oversized for peace of mind (no one can move it with its 550 kg weight).
+ It is a type of boat that for its size is incredibly safe, as it withstands the wind and waves due to the design of its hull (traditional V) (for example, it sails close-hauled with sustained winds of 21 knots and good waves, wonderfully - waves over 1 meter high, with swell, with wind-driven waves and with rebound waves from the coast...; a saloon through which it sailed wonderfully; I have photos and videos).
+++ In 2025 +++
+ Radar reflector installed.
+ Engine inspected 2 times (summer and winter).
+ Woods sanded and with special marine oil.
Interchangeable registrations at the bow (Polish marina or from reservoirs).
+ Restored cockpit compass.
+ New rudder stick (value €1,000); spectacular (I also keep the old restored one, which is beautiful and also manila colored, like the deck).
+ Stainless steel joint piece between the base of the mainsail boom and the mast: re-welded by specialists using the fine work method at Astilleros Garrido (El Grove -Galicia-).
+ New 2025 Zone C safety equipment (up to 12 miles from the coast, 6 life jackets, flares, to complete all mandatory equipment on Spanish coasts).
+ Anchor and Navigation light.
+ Triangle and Ball for motor navigation and anchoring.
+ Trailer completely renewed: lights checked, bearings changed, new complete axle, brakes checked, new tires 2025.
+ Insured with MAPFRE and with Polish flag, to navigate without problems along the Spanish coasts and any others.
+ Stored in Majadahonda (Madrid).
Accommodation
Day: 5 people.
Night: 2 in cabin and 2 in bathtub.
Mechanical equipment
Draft: from 0.30 cm to 0.98 cm; liftable with a passing line to a pulley from the same bathtub; weighs little and is very easy to raise in the mooring (so that it stays dry inside the boat's drawer; zero maintenance).
Rudder also easily liftable by pulling it upwards (I also did this every time I moored it, keeping it always spotless; zero maintenance).
Equipment of the hull and the deck
Type of rig: Gaff-Yawl. That is, a mast with a high-peaked gaff (like a guaira), a roller jib at the bow with a simple furler led back to the cockpit; and a mizzen at the stern behind the rudder axis (if it were in front, it would be a Ketch instead of a yawl) self-furling on itself.
Category C: Up to 12 miles in coastal waters and waves of 2 meters.
This is: Navigation Zone 4.
Navigation systems
BluSea solar charge controller, Raymarine Dragonfly plotter, NASA Clipper Duet speed/depth gauge, new transducer.
