Description
Sávali is a well-equipped Bruce Roberts Offshore 38 ketch rig with a center cockpit. She has been carefully refitted with self-sustainable systems, including an electric motor, solar power, and water maker. Her rigging allows for easy single-handed sailing and she is perfectly outfitted for a lovely day cruising on the bay or long distance, blue water passages.
For a 38-foot boat, Sávali has ample storage and comfortable cabins, comparable to a much larger vessel. She easily fits in a 40-foot-slip.
For savvy sailors who don’t want to spend their time varnishing teak every year, don’t worry. All decking has been replaced with wear-resistant non-skid. Throughout the interior there are lovely teak/poplar floors and the wood panel walls and cabinets have recently been stained and oiled. New, stainless steel port lights add plenty of light and airflow throughout the living space.
The current owners completely refitted the boat with plans for blue water cruising. Recently their growing family forced them to move to a larger boat.
For environmentally conscientious boaters who appreciate self-sufficiency and are ready to cruise, this boat is for you. She is perfect for a couple or young family.
