The Schokker 1600 ‘Batavier’ is a yacht with the appearance of a traditional Dutch fishing vessel, but built according to modern techniques!

Main advantages: does not rust and finished with brass and stainless steel, making it ideal for cruises in salt water.

A large cockpit, very spacious salon and galley, and a maximum of 10 sleeping places ensure that the owner and crew can stay comfortably during both short trips and longer journeys. Even with a small crew, the ship is very easy to sail and maneuver.

The current owner has spared no expense on maintenance and upgrades, so the ‘Batavier’ is truly ready for new adventures with the new owner.

New in 2023: new 220 volt sockets with new switch material,

new light switches and new 220 volt fuse boxes installed. The

interior lighting was then fitted with new LED lamps (some fixtures

were also renewed) and new dimmers were installed in the

salon and in the hallway. Standing height in the hallway to the

bow: 1.90 - 1.95 m. All 12 volt and 24 volt wiring on board has

been checked in 2023, renewed where necessary, and all unnecessary

wiring has been removed. A new switch panel has also been installed

for both the 12 volt and 24 volt systems.

The bathroom wall was sanded and revarnished in 2023. All

mattresses have slatted bases. Lamella doors in all

cabins. The plate cabinets have been fitted with new and

extra shelves in 2023. The original water tap from the galley

is still present.

1x 12 Volt & 1x 24 Volt dynamo on the engine. In the engine room

there is space to install a generator. The foundation of the old,

removed and no longer available generator is still present.

In 2023, everything from the engine was disassembled, after which a

major maintenance was performed, including adjusting the valves, the

internal cooling system was pressure tested, the V-belts were replaced, the diesel hoses were replaced, and the valves on the fuel hoses were replaced.

2023 Aquadrive reassembled and fully maintained.

2023: new engine room lighting, new wooden (gray painted) floor panels and new gas springs on the engine hatch (in the cockpit floor).
