Construction

RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998.

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Wood, Epoxy & Carbon.

 

Keel & Rudder:

• Strut keel with lead bulb.
• Rudders by JP3 Marine (new).
• Custom made tiller with wood effect coating.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 1 x Lombardini Diesel, 20hp (new & unused).
• Sail drive.

 

Propulsion & Steering:

• Darglow Flexifold 2 blade propeller (new).

Electrical Systems

• 2 x 12vDC voltage system.
• Battery charged from engine.

Plumbing Systems

• Race set up.
• Manual Bilge Pumps.

Tankage

Fuel:

• Diesel fuel.

Navigation Equipment

• B&G analogue, unused.

Accommodation

Summary of Accommodation:

• Minimal, basic arrangement for racing events and regattas.
• Racing galley.

Deck Equipment

• Anodised aluminium mast and boom by Z Spar (only used for 1 week).
• Standard rigging (only used for 1 week).
• Fixed carbon bowsprit.
• Retractable carbon bowsprit.

 

Winches:

• 4 x Harken self-tailing winches.

 

Sails:

• New sail number issued by RYA – GBR500X.
• Sail wardrobe, all either new or hardly used.
• Mainsail (used one week).
• Code zero (new) with torsional stay.
• No. 1 genoa (new).
• 2 x Saturn headsails (one new).
• No. 3 (almost new).
• Several “ASSY” spis (most hardly used).
• 3 x ex joyride (one or two used, maybe one week).
• 1 x BNP (J109).
• 3 x (ex J105).
• 1 x daisy staysail windseeker (hardly used).
• Tuff luff (new).

 

Anchoring & Mooring Equipment:

• Kedge anchor.
