Description

$19,500 Bring Offers!

This Catalina is ready to sail!  The comfortable "T" shaped cockpit has a transom that opens to a swim ladder and provides easy dinghy access. The sail control lines are lead aft so the boat can be sailed from the safety of the cockpit. As you make your way inside, the spacious salon has a "U" shaped galley located just left of the companionway. It is equipped with a 2 burner LPG stove with oven, frezer/refridgerator, microwave, double sink with hot and cold freshwater. The galley overlooks an "L" shaped settee on port and a straight setee on stbd with a fold down table in the center. There is a chart table/nav station with the breaker panel and switches to the right of the companion way, behind which is a double bed extending under the cockpit. The "L" shaped sette in the saloon also converts to a double bed, and there is a third double bed in the forward cabin plus the single on stbd in the saloon - total of 7. The shower and toilet are between the main and forward cabins to port - across from cabinetry on stbd. This is the standard (and brilliant) Catalina 30 layout that feels way bigger than a 30 footer normally would.

Among changes from the earlier catalina 30s were the 'T' cockpit, slightly different deck and liner, and different Engine options. A wing keel version was available,(hull #500+) as was a tall rig. This one hasthe wing keel and standard height mast.

DRAFT: 1.17m/3.83'.
BALLAST: 4300lbs/1950kg
DISPLACEMENT: 10,300lbs/4672kg

The boat suffered rig damage during hurricane Helen - a replacement catalina mast was installed this spring along with new standing rigging and updated spreaders from Catalina Direct. All halyards were also replaced to new.

Boat was hauled out and new zincs and antifoul was done this spring to prepare the boat for a summer trip to Florida.

The boat just returned to Savannah from Florida and she is ready to take you up and down the coast or to the Bahamas today.
