Description
‘Koa’ is a fine example of a 1991 Amel Santorin Ketch. She sailed from Martinique to the west coast of France last year, crossing the Atlantic without issue, and is now ready for a new owner to begin her next chapter.
Essential winterisation was carried out in 2024, and she has been laid up ashore since. Some routine maintenance is required, along with work on a few systems, to ensure she is fully prepared to return to sea.
Significant upgrades have been made to the vessel, including the installation of Starlink satellite internet, a reinforced mainsail, partial rigging replacement, and three coats of copper-infused antifouling.
Please note that EU VAT has not been paid on the vessel. However, a scheme to split the difference with the Martinique tax payment may be available to certain buyers, depending on their country of residence.
