Description
1987 Jeanneau Selection 37
EXCEPTIONAL, BERTH IN THE OLD PORT OF MARSEILLE
ENGINE 2018 - RIGGING 2019 - NEW MAIN SAIL - NUMEROUS INVOICES
Entrances for fine water, wide stern and flat, great length at the waterline for low displacement. This is the mix of the cocktail concocted by the two architects from La Rochelle, Joubert and Nivelt for this fantastic SELECTION 37. A stunning cocktail considering the fantastic sail plan. The control of the rigging is easy thanks to efficient fittings.
The deck plan is very original with its two descents that allow easy movement of crew members both in port and at sea, it is a model of its kind.
No jam cleat is missing, all halyards are differentiated and come within reach of the helmsman and crew in the cockpit. The winches are also positioned at the back. Maneuvering is therefore done safely and the crew gathered together promotes the unforgettable surfs that the Selection is known for. The balance of the hull is astonishing and the helmsman seated in the cockpit or on the side deck controls the Selection with the tip of his stick. Visibility forward is excellent, its only concern is the search for speed. As soon as we release the sheet to attack the beam or the broad reach, the Selection leaps.
It is no coincidence that it was the boat of the Tour de France à la Voile
It offers a real roof and a large beam that allows for a cabin designed for 7 adults.
The saloon (1.80 m of headroom) is the preferred gathering place for the crew. In the center, the table in this owner version will allow the crew to gather completely.
The wood is very present. The aft cabin has its own descent.
Only 2 owners (the current one since 1995), this Selection has meticulous maintenance, a substantial invoice file, and a complete history!!
