Description
This is a fine example of a Ed Dubois designed, Wauquiez built, Centurion 47 that has been optimized for cruising with constant maintainance & upgrades. She is unique with her converible forward cabins and main saloon settee which has been modified for easier access around her large dining table. There is an ample amount of storage which makes her perfect for long distance cruising or extended weekends. Her 6' draft allows easy access to shallower harbors and gunholes. She is also equipped with a large Bruce anchor with all chain rode for deeper water anchorages. The Centurion 47 sailing performance is outstanding and she is easily handled by shorthanded crew. The 100 hp Yanmar and large MaxProp provides ample speed and maneuverability under power in a seaway, yet it is very fuel efficient. The large water and fuel tank capacity allows for extended cruising without the need to always be at the fuel or water dock. The boat is well ventilated for warmer climates and the mast back awning provides shade at anchor and is easily set up by 2 people. The boat is setup with two independent DC charging systems as well as two separate refrigeration/freezer systems for redundancy. Overall this boat is well equiped and ready for the next owners adventures. Mirage has recently had her hull wrapped in a navy blue film
