When first introduced, this model was promoted as being 'unsinkable'. It was built with a number of strategically placed cavities filled with foam throughout the interior. To prove the claim, a number of tests were conducted, where the boat was completely flooded, after which it not only remained afloat, but still maneuverable.

There is a survey from 2022 avaiable on request, most of the issues raised in the survey have been repaired ad delt with.
The engine was repaired and serviced in 2023 by Stuart Marine.
The life raft was replaced in 2022
New standing rigging 2022
the windows have been removed, cleaned and re-sealed and fitted back in.
Handrail was replaced
replaced the manual bilge pump with an electric one
gas hose and regulator issues were resolved
seacocks for the toilet were greased to remedy the seizure issue on the survey.
The boat has been out of the water since autumn 2023.
