Pre Amble:-

When first introduced, this model was promoted as being 'unsinkable'. It was built with a number of strategically placed cavities filled with foam throughout the interior. To prove the claim, a number of tests were conducted, where the boat was completely flooded, after which it not only remained afloat, but still maneuverable.

There is a survey from 2022 avaiable on request, most of the issues raised in the survey have been repaired ad delt with.

  • The engine was repaired and serviced in 2023 by Stuart Marine. 

  • The life raft was replaced in 2022 

  • New standing rigging 2022

  • the windows have been removed, cleaned and re-sealed and fitted back in.

  • Handrail was replaced

  • replaced the manual bilge pump with an electric one 

  • gas hose and regulator issues were resolved 

  • seacocks for the toilet were greased to remedy the seizure issue on the survey.

  • The boat has  been out of the water since autumn 2023.
