Description

Iconic Hallberg-Rassy 42E Ketch - Blue Water Ready

The Hallberg-Rassy 42E Ketch is a proven offshore cruising yacht, renowned for exceptional build quality, seaworthiness, and timeless Scandinavian design. Designed by Olle Enderlein, the 42E Ketch combines powerful yet comfortable sailing performance with the safety and reliability for which Hallberg-Rassy is famous.

Her solid fiberglass hull, encapsulated keel, and protected center cockpit provide outstanding security at sea. Recent major upgrades—including engine, rigging, bow thruster, solar power system, and lithium batteries—enhance reliability and self-sufficiency. The flush deck and flexible ketch rig, with its two masts, offer versatile sail handling, making her one of the finest blue-water cruisers available. Equally capable of circumnavigation or relaxed coastal cruising, the Hallberg-Rassy 42E is designed to handle all seas with confidence.

Below deck, the 42E features a warm, beautifully crafted interior finished in high-quality mahogany. Generous headroom, excellent ventilation, and a practical layout make her ideally suited for extended living aboard. The spacious saloon, well-equipped galley, walkthrough access from stem to stern, and comfortable cabins—each with its own head and shower—provide privacy, comfort, and functionality.

Stable, predictable under sail, and confidence-inspiring in heavy weather, the Hallberg-Rassy 42E is a true go-anywhere yacht. Easily managed by two, yet offering ample space for a crew of seven to eight, she rewards her owner with safety, comfort, and enduring value.
