Ownership and Sailing History
Built in the USA, commissioned and cared for by a single family for over three decades, the boat was sailed mostly in the Chesapeake Bay until spreading her wings and heading into the Caribbean, Central and South America. She has traversed the Panama canal several times and boasts voyages to Brazil and Peru before the family passed her onto her current owners. She has been well cared for since, upgraded and is ready for more adventures!
Location, Location, Location
SV Galatea is already in Panama, one of the most beautiful cruising grounds in the world with coastlines on both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Head north to the Western Caribbean (Bocas del Toro, Honduras, Belize), catch the trades east toward the ABC Islands or cross the canal and head out to the vast Pacific ocean.
Don't wait!
If you’ve been dreaming of a safe, comfortable cruiser that’s already well equipped and sitting in one of the world’s best jumping-off points, this Morgan 462 deserves a serious look. She’s not just a boat—she’s a ready-to-go ticket to the cruising lifestyle.
