Hull, deck & superstructure

The manufacturers words

• The hull and deck are built well above minimum specifications. Strong woven roving fibreglass layers are used in both.
• The saloon roof is balsa cored for rigidity and insulation.
• The hull and deck are bonded together and through fastened with no less than 130 stainless steel bolts.
• A traditional cast iron ballast keel is fixed with massive keel bolts which provides a tough level keel for drying out.

General

• Original gelcoat cream hull with painted Grey deck edge stripe.
• Cream textured non slip deck with raised aluminium toerail.
• Deep bow well for safety.
• Good sized cockpit with deep port cockpit locker.
• Substantial fin keel with iron ballast bolted to a stub moulding.
• Full skeg hung rudder.
• Tiller steering.

• Substantial fit out, well engineered and laid out with good storage.

• Opposite the heads are two large hanging lockers. One full height and one 3/4 height.

Saloon

• To port is a single settee berth with trotter box.
• Outboard is general storage.
• To starboard is an L shaped seating area which can be used as a single berth or double with infill.
• The central table is large and substantial with internal storage for bottles.
• There is a section of the table which is either configured for dinning or used to fill the gap for the double berth with use of an additional extension piece.
• Outboard to starboard is further shelved storage.
• Deck head opening hatch and two coachroof side windows.

Galley

• Aft to port.
• Round stainless steel sink with hot and cold water via a mixer tap.
• Large refrigerated cold storage box with Isotherm refrigeration unit.
• Storage - Outboard are shelves with sliding door access. A drawer and door fronted lockers beneath the work surface. Dedicated cup and crockery storage at the aft bulkhead. Plenty of work surface which is extended with a cover piece over the cooker.
• Plastimo Neptune 2000 stainless steel gimballed gas cooker with 2 burners, grill and oven.
• Deck head vent.

Navigation Station

• To starboard aft.
• Large forward facing chart table with internal storage.
• Navigators seat.
• Storage outboard in shelf lockers.

Aft double berth

• Admittedly this is a cozy double or an extra large skippers berth.

Deck equipment

• Stainless steel pulpit with twin uncovered stainless guard wires run aft via stainless steel stanchion posts to two quarter stainless steel pushpits with opening gate.
• Aluminium toerail with machined holed for scuppers or attaching deck gear.
• Lewmar 12v electric anchor windlass. New 2022.
• 10kg Danforth anchor and approx. 40m of chain.
• Stainless steel stem head fitting with two rollers.
• Mooring cleats forward, mid ship and aft.

Winches

• 2 x Lewmar 40 2 speed self tailing primary winches.

• Holding tank. Capacity unknown but has a full indicator light. The holding tank operates as a through flow system so fills when the hull seacock is closed.
• C-Warm calorifier tank which heats via shore power or engine heat exchanger.

• Cooker supplied by gas with a 4.5kg callor gas bottle.

Canvas work

• Burgundy stack pack with lazy jacks for the mainsail.
