Description
The Vindö 40 is a Swedish design, built at the Nötesunds Varv in Orust, the predecessor of the well-known Hallberg-Rassy yard. Many features are therefore similar. The boat has a robust construction, which contributes to its durability and seaworthiness. The boat sails very reliably, even when conditions become harsher. Thus, the boat is suitable for long trips and ocean sailing. With its varnished wooden superstructure, white hull, and teak deck, it has a charming and timeless appearance. One can see the years of experience on the deck, but it is well maintained.
The interior is cozy and nautical. Upon entering, the galley is to port and the navigation corner is to starboard. Midships is the salon with settees and a table that can be lowered midships. In the bow is a two-person cabin, and to starboard is a pilot berth. By lowering the salon table, two additional sleeping places can be created.
The boat has received years of loving maintenance and is always stored indoors during winter. Transport was done with a modified trailer that can optionally be included.
