Bruce Roberts Mauritius 43

This is a Bruce Roberts Mauritius 43 centre cockpit ketch. The plans say 1977, but it is unknown when the boat was built. It was purchased a few years ago to be finished and made ready for blue water cruising. Unfortunately, the owner passed away recently before it could be finished. Built with 1/4” steel plate, it doesn’t appear to have much (if any) usage. The hull is insulated and seems well built. Powered by a Chrysler Nissan 6cyl diesel which apparently turns over, however hours are not known. The motor seems properly installed, but it would be up to the buyer to assess the condition. The boat has new hydraulic steering which functions properly. New water tank. All new SS railing about 90% completed. New interior wiring installed for LED lighting. The boat has 3 staterooms, 1 head, full galley with fridge and kerosene stove with oven. Plenty of storage throughout. The boat has a hard dodger with fixed windows. 4 Dorade boxes installed. It will need upholstery, sole flooring, finishing and put together. The boat comes with many parts, some new, some used to complete. Included are masts, sails, some standing rigging, winches, pumps, manual windlass, 2 anchors with chain and rode, some electronics, compass, vhf, engine parts and many miscellaneous bits and pieces needed to complete.
The boat is currently on its own cradle at a facility in the Niagara area. Arrangements can be made with the facility owner to keep her there until finished, or the facility owner can transport at the buyer's expense.
