Description
At the end of 2025 the diesel engine was replaced with a professional electric engine, saving weight and space. Old problems of hydraulic transmission do not exist anymore as transmission is now direct. No more shaft.
There are yachts, and then there are yachts with a soul.
Built in Italy in 1976 by the respected Fratelli Marchi shipyard and designed by the legendary hand of Carlo Sciarrelli, this Marchi 47 is a true expression of timeless elegance, balance, and understated beauty. Her lines are graceful and purposeful, speaking quietly of a time when yachts were crafted with patience, proportion, and passion.
Over the last ten years, she has been lovingly and comprehensively restored, always with deep respect for her original spirit. Every detail has been carefully considered, allowing her classic character to shine while ensuring she remains a reliable and comfortable yacht for modern sailing.
Her previous owner enjoyed her exactly as she was meant to be used: as a day sailor along the Mediterranean coast, spending summers anchored in the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer, and occasionally lining up on the start line of classic Mediterranean regattas. Whether gliding quietly into a harbor or sailing among other classics, she has always drawn admiring glances.
She carries a full set of new sails for racing and cruising, ready to reward her next owner with the pure, balanced sailing performance that Sciarrelli designs are known for.
Most recently, she has taken a confident step into the future with a complete conversion to all-electric propulsion. Under power she moves almost silently—no vibration, no exhaust—just the gentle sound of water along her hull.
Everywhere she goes, she is a true head-turner.
This Marchi 47 is not for everyone. She is for someone who values heritage over trends, craftsmanship over volume, and the quiet pleasure of owning something genuinely rare.
A yacht to be sailed, admired, and deeply loved.

Klara’s Electrical Propulsion System
A New Era of Silent Power:
Klara is built for pure sailing pleasure—gliding effortlessly as a daysailer, shining along the coastline during summer cruises, and performing with elegance in classic regattas across Italy and France. Because her purpose is all about refined sailing rather than long offshore passages, her new propulsion system has been engineered with one goal in mind: enhancing her sailing experience through clean, quiet, and efficient electric power.
When maneuvering in and out of harbors or docking in tight spaces, the electrical drive provides immediate, smooth, and reliable thrust. The system is intentionally lightweight and strategically positioned close to the boat’s center, ensuring that Klara’s legendary sailing characteristics remain uncompromised.
To guarantee energy availability at all times—without burdening the yacht with excessive battery weight—a compact generator has been integrated into the system. This ensures effortless recharging wherever Klara might sail, and keeps the entire propulsion solution sleek, efficient, and optimized for performance.
The complete system is delivered by Fisher Panda Germany, offering a state‑of‑the‑art 48V / 20 kW electric propulsion package that brings advanced marine technology to the classic sailing world.

47’ stunning “modern classic” cruiser/racer.
Klara was designed by the famous Italian naval architect Carlo Sciarrelli for the Mediterranean sea.
Built in 1976 she has a cored fiberglass hull, which was very innovative for that time and has proven to be super strong and easy to maintain. Her deck and interior stands in the original teak. Her condition and shape is still as beautiful and iconic as in the 70th thanks to the high quality of teak and the quality of craftsmanship accomplished by the famous F.lli Marchi boatyard in Venice.
She is not just a beauty she is also a fast sailing yacht finishing in second and third places in the “Spirit of Tradition” class. Her sails are all new, designed by Zaoli for classic racing. In light winds she runs effortlessly 5,5 knots. When the breeze increases, she accelerates smoothly without any tension. In heavy sea and strong winds at close hauled she is very well balanced and allows you to generate an impressive VMG. On reaching and running you can safely stretch her to her max speed of 8,5 knots before you start reducing your sails.
As a summer cruiser she has all the comfort needed for sailing and anchoring in the Med.
She is truly a owners version of a sailing yacht with plenty of space for family and friends. 3 cabins, a two person and a one person in the front and the captain’s cabin in the after with plenty of comfort for him and his wife.
Her classic style sun cover covering from the cockpit to the mast cools you down and protects you and your guests doing the worm summer days while anchoring in a Mediterranean bay.
