Description
Sparkman & Stephen Finesterre
Diva is a yawl with a distinctly atypical character, combining classic elegance and high-level performance. A true rarity on the market, it captivates as much with its sleek silhouette as with its ability to dominate the regattas in which it competes, consistently winning the biggest events. But Diva is not only distinguished by its record: its perfectly balanced hull provides remarkable glide, offering both speed and pleasure in sailing, whether cruising or racing.
Under French flag since 2020 and owned by its third owner, the Yawl Diva has a remarkable history. Originally built for a German shipowner who kept it for over 30 years, it then belonged to a Dutchman from 2002, who maintained it every year at the former Royal Huysmans shipyard in Vollenhoven. Initially rigged for cruising, Diva has been progressively equipped for classic racing by its current owner, allowing for a dual cruising/racing configuration. In JCH measurement, it has excelled by winning all the major events it has participated in, such as the Zebra Regatta, the Branle bas de Régates, the Emeraude Classic Cup in Saint-Malo, and the Sails of the Citadel in Port-Louis. Since its launch, Diva has benefited from systematic winter storage under a shed to ensure optimal maintenance.
