Description
Fully equipped for international sea voyages.
Former Belgian Navy training sailing ship with various improvements over time. Including a new teak deck. The ship has an impressive sailing history to destinations including the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. It has also participated in various Tall Ships races. In total, the ship has sailed more than 400,000 nautical miles.
The A958 Zenobe Gramme was a sailing ship of the Belgian Navy that served as a training ship. It was named after the Belgian Zénobe Gramme.
The ship was built in 1961 by the Boelwerf in Temse and was designed by Frank Van Dycke. It occasionally participated in sailing competitions and won the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race in 1976. The Zenobe Gramme served as a training ship for non-commissioned officers and officers of the Belgian Navy.
It was decommissioned on July 26, 2024.
