Description
Heritage interest boat (BIP), HEIMAT (my beloved country in German) is a Bermudian Sloop from 1935, built in ARNIS village in Germany (Baltic Sea) at the MATTHIESEN and PAULSEN shipyard (still in operation), the architect is A. TILLER.
HEIMAT has been regularly maintained and is in very good condition:
- in 2015 REFIT: new Burmese teak deck, new propulsion (engine, gearbox,
max propeller), new deck fittings (winches, sheet tracks, guideau…)
- in 2016 REFIT of the interior, cushions, varnish, paints, electricity,
- in 2017 new mast designed by architect Jacques FAUROUX and built by Gilbert PASQUI from Villefranche sur Mer and all the standing rigging was supplied new by GABIER’N RIGS from Antibes.
