Description
Special large tjotter built in 1867 at the S.C. Nijdam shipyard at Zomerrak in Sneek. It is in good condition with recent sails.
Special large tjotter built in 1867 at the S.C. Nijdam shipyard at Zomerrak in Sneek. It is in good condition with recent sails. Jib, cover, and deck cloth from Molenaar from 2019. The price includes a good boat trailer (tandem axle). The bottom, keel beam, and propeller shaft tube were restored in 2000 by Pier Piersma Heeg. The ship can be stored in an unheated shed during the winter, allowing it to be launched in the spring without needing to be sealed. It was put back into service in 2021 by the current owner.

Hull shape: Oak wood

The bottom, keel beam, and propeller shaft were replaced in 2000 and have been stored indoors from 2000 to 2020. The photo with the new bottom is from 2020; the ship has always been watertight even after being stored indoors for a winter. It has only been sailed for three years after the restoration.
The trailer has a license plate but needs some attention. It is manageable for short distances. The small ship can be launched in and out of the water at the trailer ramp.
The ship is ready to sail.
