The Albemarle Boats 53 Spencer Edition is a semi-custom luxury sportfishing yacht developed through a collaboration with legendary custom builder Spencer Sportfish. Designed to bring the performance, styling, and fishability of a custom Carolina boat to a production platform, the 53 delivers exceptional craftsmanship with faster build times thanks to precision mold construction.
Built using advanced vacuum-infused construction with vinylester resin and composite core, the 53 features one of the strongest and lightest hulls Albemarle has produced. The Carolina-style hull provides outstanding offshore performance, giving anglers the range, speed, and seakeeping ability needed for serious tournament fishing.
Below deck, the yacht offers a refined three-stateroom, two-head layout with luxury finishes throughout. The interior includes a fully equipped galley with cooktop, microwave/convection oven, and dual refrigerator/freezer drawers. The spacious salon features an L-shaped sofa, dinette, wet bar, and home theater system, while handcrafted horizontal-grain walnut cabinetry adds an elegant custom-yacht feel.
The flybridge is designed for both comfort and performance, highlighted by an island helm console with easy walk-around access to forward lounge seating and bench seating. The helm electronics panel supports large multi-display navigation systems and includes dedicated space for Furuno Omni sonar technology, making the vessel tournament-ready. Premium features such as Pipewelders Marine towers and Release Marine helm chairs further enhance the bridge experience.
In the cockpit, 160 square feet of fishing space provides a highly customizable layout for serious anglers. Features include a large transom fishbox, wide transom door for landing trophy fish, and a mezzanine with multiple storage boxes for bait freezers, refrigeration, coolers, or ice storage. Optional teak decking, fighting chairs, and rocket launchers allow owners to tailor the cockpit for tournament fishing or offshore cruising.
Standard power comes from twin Caterpillar C18 1150 HP diesel engines, with an available upgrade to MTU 10V 1600 HP engines for higher cruising speeds. Additional mechanical highlights include a 21 kW Cummins Onan generator, a dedicated pump room, and optional upgrades such as a Seakeeper 9, watermaker, and ice chipper.
