Viknes

In the late 1980s, Viknes entered the market with the Viknes 770. A quirky and seaworthy vessel as we can expect from a Norwegian quality shipyard. It was the beginning of a long series of successful models. The Viknes boats are particularly well-lined and exceptionally strong, making sailing on open seas no problem at all. After a stable growth period, the yard was shaken by a major fire in the year 2000. A year later, a new production hall was built, and Viknes started a new series of models. In 2012, the Viknes 930 was named "Powerboat of the Year".

Currently, Viknes is one of the largest yacht builders in Norway. All Viknes boats are approved by the Norwegian certification body "Norske Veritas" under CE design category B.

The Viknes 930 comes standard with a 4hp bow thruster, a separate shower with toilet, trim tabs, electric bilge pump, and in the galley, an oven, gas detector, 65ltr refrigerator with freezer compartment, and a hot water supply.

The engine can be chosen, with options of a 320HP or a 370HP Yanmar diesel engine. This model from Viknes was named "Powerboat of the Year" in 2012.

In the salon, a spacious U-shaped sofa is placed for comfortable seating under the two glass sliding windows. Below, at the front of the boat, there are 2 sleeping cabins, each with a double bed, along with a bathroom equipped with a toilet and shower.

 

On the aft deck, there is an L-shaped sofa under the sliding HT roof. There is also an outside steering position. A teak deck on the aft deck and swim platform is one of the many options available.

 

This is a great model for a holiday on the water, a fantastic mid-range model in the Viknes series!
