Powerful and smooth, the R6 features Cobalt’s Custom Wave Technology surf system with multiple hard ballast links, the Volvo FWD powertrain, and a specifically designed surf hull that integrates with our best-in-class Surf Gate technology to shape the perfect wave for a day of excitement on the water.
Cobalt Swim Step: Popular and envied, our patented Swim Step lowers below the water line for easy access in and out of the water, is great for lounging, pets, and stows flush within the swim platform surface.
Engine Access: The wide engine hatch opening allows for easy access, easy maintenance, and storage space access—and the easy-lift hatch is gasket sealed when closed to reduce noise in the cockpit.
Interior: With updated styling and an expansive interior that features wraparound yacht-style seating, the R6 Surf capitalizes on increased space, storage for watersports gear, and capacity for a head compartment while maintaining its sporty performance and responsive handling.
Cobalt’s Surf System: Custom Wave Technology powered by Volvo Penta, you get the combination of Malibu Surf Gate™ with an explicitly designed surf hull, the Volvo FWD powertrain, and multiple hard ballast tanks that can have as much as 2,350 pounds of ballast. Plus, select your rider profile and the system will automatically configure the boat per the pre-saved profile setting. The result is a best-in-class wave that will even compete with some competition towboats.
