Candela C-8, 100% electric with retractable hydrofoils system. The most efficient navigation mode at planing speeds, an 80% energy saving at 22 knots compared to a planing boat.
45 kW (C-POD) motor and 45/69 kW battery with a range of 40/57 nautical miles (at 22 knots, cruising speed).
Maximum speed 27 knots.
Take-off speed (with fully extended hydrofoil system) starting at 16 knots.
Ability to raise the hydrofoil systems to put the boat in planing mode (like any other conventional boat) reducing its speed and range.
Maximum wave height for hydrofoil mode; waves up to 1.2 meters. In case of larger waves, the boat will automatically switch to planing mode.
The battery charging accepts 11kW AC (4 hours full charge in three-phase and 12 hours full charge in single-phase) and DC 120 kW (10-80% in 40 minutes).
6 smart sensors and a revolutionary hydrofoil system that performs 100 calculations per second.
