Description
Just Listed!
Nicely optioned single owner Sargo 36 featuring the extended hardtop, twin Volvo D6-380 DPI drives for exceptional fuel economy and a 30 kt cruising speed.
Come and see why Sargo has earned the "ALL SEASON BOAT" moniker, and has set the bar for quality in the growing class of Adventure sport cruisers. Sargo dates their origins all the way back to 1966 when Sarins Snickeri was hired to build interiors for Nautor Swan. Sarins launched the Minor Offshore brand in 1976, and after over 1900 hulls that production line became SARGO in 2014.
SISU is hull #79 of the modern Sargo 36, and was one of the first to be built for a US owner. Her shore power system accommodates both US 110v/60 hz and Euro 230 volt/50 hz. The boat has been enjoyed exclusively in the New York/Long Island Sound area and very lightly used, spending 6-7 months out of the water each winter. She shows much newer than her age.

Accommodations
The interior of the Sargo 36 makes maximum use of space to provide a 2 cabin/2 head galley-up layout that is versatile for both extended cruises with the family, or dayboating with larger groups. Large opening sunroof (manual).
Climate control is provided via two-zone air conditioning AND a diesel heater. Cabin fans and privacy/shade screens provide additional temperature control.
Entering through the aft sliding door, the spacious pilothouse features a galley to port and a raised seating area to starboard. Visibility is excellent, with the ability to open up windows, doors and hardtop in good weather.
Twin helm seats plus a portside seat give your co-pilot an active role in navigation, and port/starboard helm doors making docking operations easy.
Below and forward is a larger owners cabin with an island berth with reading lights and storage. An opening overhead hatch and opening hull portlights provide ligh and ventilation. The head with separate shower can be accessed en-suite, or via a separate door at the base of the companionway.
Tucked under the pilothouse is a remarkably spacious and private guest cabin with a 2+1 berth and insert, and its own en-suite head. A large hull window and opening ports provide light and ventilation. This cabin is accessed via a clever flip-up settee at the aft end of the dinette as shown in photos.
