Additional Information

The Ferretti 550 features a layout that offers, for the first time in a boat of this size (57 feet, 17.37 meters), three cabins and three bathrooms. This project also includes a special window design that enhances the brightness in the cabins.
The new Ferretti 550 demonstrates the care and attention that FERRETTI YACHTS Engineering dedicates to all the vessels in its fleet through the provision, upon request, of new sophisticated technologies for the comfort of the owner: the NAVIOP, a software that allows continuous monitoring, even via SMS, of alarm situations (portholes, doors, cameras, and smoke detectors) and yacht management (electrical system, pumps, tank levels, etc.); the ARG (Anti Rolling Gyro system), an exclusive anti-roll gyroscopic system, developed exclusively for the Ferretti Group by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which reduces wave-induced movement by more than 50%,
The attention that FERRETTI YACHTS pays to the design of new vessels has also involved the interiors, aimed at offering more space and high-quality finishes: matte light oak painted with an open pore for the furniture, while the kitchen and bathroom floors have been designed with wenge profiles.
The command bridge features a design that allows all instrumentation to be positioned on a single panel, ensuring better control of the steering. The dinette is located next to the pilot station along with a small table and a large sofa.


The salon has been completely redesigned: a U-shaped sofa and a dining table dominate the space on the right, while a sofa is located on the left side. A few steps down leads to the kitchen, with an L-shaped structure, featuring two sinks and a black marble countertop.


Below deck is the owner's cabin with a comfortable double wardrobe and a bathroom. The two guest cabins, equipped with twin beds, each have their own bathroom. To optimize the new layout of the Ferretti 550's spaces through functional solutions, the bathroom of the left cabin has also been designed as a bathroom for the living area, thanks to a double entrance that makes it accessible from both the cabin and the corridor.

In addition to the classic access from the cockpit, an internal staircase from the salon provides access to the flying bridge, which has been designed with a U-shaped sofa layout around the table. Here, there is a large sunbathing area and all the comforts designed for sharing with guests the space most suited to the owner: a fridge unit, a sink with a cooking surface, and, upon request, also a chaise longue near the command station.


For the crew, the standard configuration of the Ferretti 550 includes a single cabin with a bathroom from which direct access to the kitchen is possible, without crossing the salon and disturbing the guests. If necessary, a space has been provided at the stern for the setup of a second service cabin.
Furthermore, the engine room has been positioned between the standard sailor's cabin (with bathroom and access from the kitchen) and the optional cabin at the stern.


The large dimensions of the spoiler allow for the accommodation of a 3.2 m tender or a Jet Ski.


Thanks to the new, even larger fuel tank, the Ferretti 550 allows for 11 hours of navigation at a cruising speed of 30 knots. The maximum speed, guaranteed by the 2 MAN engines of 900 horsepower, is instead 34 knots.
