We present the Starfisher 790 OBS, the first model of the new Outboard Series line from the Spanish shipyard Promarine Vigo. A vessel with a robust and functional design, intended for those seeking a mixed fishing-cruising experience with ample space, excellent habitability, and the performance of an outboard motor.

With an overall length of 7.90 m, a beam of 2.86 m, and a design that prioritizes comfort on board, the Starfisher 790 OBS offers much more than its size suggests. Its generous cockpit, smart distribution solutions, and complete standard equipment make it an excellent choice for both family outings and sport fishing days.

Exterior: functionality and comfort

Spacious self-draining cockpit with padded seats, side lockers, and direct access to two swim platforms.

Adaptable pre-cockpit for the installation of one or two outboard motors (ideal for a single engine of 150-250 HP or twin engines of 2x115/150 HP).

- Integrated swim ladder, folding backrest, and space for an outdoor table convertible into a dinette or sunbathing area.

Sunbathing area at the bow with cushions, safe access via side walkways, and an anchor locker with an electric windlass.

Sober design with elegant lines and a single-piece curved windshield that improves visibility from the helm.

Interior: bright, well-distributed, and surprisingly spacious

Bright and ventilated cabin, with operable side windows and a sliding skylight hatch.

Convertible dinette with opposing seats and a folding table (additional bed).

Kitchen equipped with stainless steel sink, refrigerator, space for a stove, and work surface.

Independent high bathroom (1.75 m), with sink and chemical or electric toilet.

Rest area with a transverse double bed at the bow and a single bed at the stern under the salon.

Navigation: stable and safe performance

During tests with winds of up to 25 knots, the vessel showed excellent behavior, with smooth and stable navigation even with the smallest recommended engine, a Yamaha 150 HP. A top speed of 29.5 knots was reached, with an ideal cruising speed between 23 and 26 knots. With a 200 HP outboard, the shipyard reports speeds of up to 32 knots.
