The 185LS targets boaters who want a “do-everything” small boat: a day boat for cruising, swimming, tubing or watersports, casual fishing, or just relaxing on the lake. Its compact size makes it easier to trailer, store, and launch than larger boats — but it doesn’t sacrifice too much in comfort or amenities. Offers a mixture of performance (with the 135 hp Mercruiser stern drive) and practicality (storage, cooler, convertible seating), giving good value for price/size. 185LS is a compact yet full-featured 18′-class bowrider designed for fun on the water — cruising, swimming, watersports or weekend outings.

At the helm: sporty “Dino” Italian-style steering wheel, a full array of backlit instruments trimmed in a rich wood-grain-style dash panel, and a lower rake for better visibility. Dash includes: digital hour meter, 12-volt receptacle for accessories, and on the passenger side a locking glove box, a large drink holder, heavy-duty stainless grab rail, plus a flat spot to mount electronics (radio/CD) recessed beneath the windshield for protection. Bow design: the bow is wider and longer than its predecessor (the 180), with contoured dual bow seats on fiberglass bases; bow area includes stainless-steel rails (not plastic) for safety and durability, and storage under the seats. Bow also features an in-bow insulated cooler (about 32 quarts) with a non-slip hatch that doubles as a boarding step — ideal for drinks/food storage and easier bow access. Cockpit/after area: The “LS” layout offers a driver’s bucket seat, a back-to-back lounge seat (convertible), and aft jump seats that sit beside or over the motor box (removable motor box with pad). This layout balances seating, lounging, and swim-platform access. Swim platform + integrated re-boarding ladder at stern (on models like the 185LX; LS shares many of these features). Other standard amenities: All-weather marine carpet, oversized cup holders, storage compartments (floor storage, bow storage), pop-up bow cleat and spring-line cleats, stainless-steel bow rails, and a sport Bimini top (with windshield connector) in many configurations.
