Agder 840

The Agder 840 is a sporty and low-maintenance polyester Scandinavian quality yacht. This sharp stern with soft top offers powerful engine performance with a practical open cockpit and comfortable fore and aft cabins. The wide and safe side decks are equipped with stainless steel railings and various handrails all around. The open cockpit is accessible from the side decks and is arranged with a sunbed on the roof of the aft cabin, a spacious L-shaped seating area, a kitchen on the port side, and a clear helm station with an adjustable helm seat on the starboard side. On the kitchen, there is a folding seat that can be easily flipped to free up the work surface completely. The cockpit is covered with a full convertible top, allowing for comfortable sailing in all weather conditions. In the forepeak, there is a spacious round seating area that can be quickly converted into an extra sleeping place. There is also a sanitary space with an electric toilet and washing facilities. The aft cabin offers a comfortable double bed and an extra child’s bed, with all spaces cleverly and efficiently arranged and equipped with sufficient storage and cupboard space. This Agder 840 is fully equipped with, among other things, a bow thruster, solar panel with charge controller, battery charger, a powerful 3,000 Watt inverter, boiler, deck shower, heating, and a Webasto diesel cooking appliance, eliminating the need for gas on board. The electric anchor winch is equipped with remote control, and the technology on board has recently been renewed in several areas, such as the expansion of the battery pack, installation of the new inverter, replacement of the compressor refrigerator, the cooktop, and the electric toilet. The Agder 840 is known for its handy sailing characteristics and is ideal for inland waters due to its compact dimensions.
